A man escaped without serious injury from this car after it overturned in Brielle Way.

The silver Peugeot hit the curb and rolled over onto the bank.

It happened at about midday today (Thursday) while the car was travelling along Brielle Way heading out of Sheerness.

There was only one car involved in the accident and the man driving did not require hospital treatment.

A witness following the car before it happened called the police and pulled the man from the wreckage.

The man, who did not want to be named, said: “The car hit the curb and flipped over and ended up at the side of the road.

“We parked up and ran over and wrenched the door open and pulled him out.

“He was alright – he just had cut arms but I’m surprised he walked away from it.”
