Hundreds of photos taken for a year-long competition will be displayed as part of a history festival.

Kent Creative Arts (KCA) will be holding an exhibition at Castle Connections, Railway Terrace, Queenborough, from Friday as part of Promenade Festival.

Last year, KCA ran a project called 365 A Year in the Life of Sheppey, which encouraged residents to take pictures and create a diary of Island life.

A photo from each day of the year was chosen by a panel of judges and the images are being made into a book.

At the exhibition, all the pictures that were submitted will be displayed, not just the ones that were chosen.

It will be a varied display with landscapes, people, animals, festivals and much more.
