The funeral of former Mayoress of Queenborough Jennie Ronan will take place on Monday.

It will be at the Garden of England Crematorium, Bobbing, at 1pm, followed by a wake at The Trafalgar in Rushenden Road.

The family has asked for no flowers but donations to go to a charity of their own choosing.

Jennie had been diagnosed with lung cancer in June.

She was taken to hospital suffering from septicaemia and died last Saturday.

Everyone who knew Jennie is welcome along to pay their respects.
