Police car chase results in crash and two arrests in Minster, Sheppey

Two people were arrested after a car overturned following a late-night police chase.

Officers went in pursuit of the vehicle in Minster, Sheppey, after a report of the car being stolen in Coral Road.

The chase ended when the car overturned in Elm Lane after 10.15pm on Thursday, November 22.

There was no contact between the car and the police vehicle, with no one suffering serious injuries.

A 23-year-old man from Catford and a 16-year-old boy from Sheerness were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

The man has been bailed until December 17 and the boy has been bailed until December 20.
