Minster homes electricity on again following cut

All of the homes in Minster left without electricity following an outage have had their supply restored.

UK Power Network engineers worked quickly to fix the problem after the cut at 8.42am which affected 630 people in the Oak Lane area.

By 9.13am most homes' supply was up and running, with the remaining 84 people switched back on at 10.21am.

A spokesman said: “We appreciate how difficult it can be to lose power, especially at this time of year, and apologise for the inconvenience caused by this incident.”
