A cake stall set up outside a Sheerness business raised more than £400 for charity.

Digital Satellite Services sold baked treats and sweets and also held a raffle last Thursday.

They raised a total of £431.61 which will be split between skin charity DebRA, Cancer Research UK and cystic fibrosis organisation Great Strides.

Manager at the High Street company, Ria Crawford, said: “The public and local retailers have been amazing. We had to go and make more cakes.”

She added that more fundraisers are being planned for the future including a fun day and a sponsored walk in fancy dress.
