Trains between Sheerness and Sittingbourne back up and running after bridge problem

Rail services between Sheerness and Sittingbourne were suspended for a period this evening - but are now all up and running again.

Southeastern says all lines between the two towns were blocked as a result of a "problem with a river bridge".

However, teams were sent to the site of the problem and were able to resolve the issue.
