Three people have been arrested after a man was attacked on his doorstep in Sheerness yesterday.

A 27-year-old man was approached by a group of three men, who were thought to have had a dog with them, and attacked at his home in Queensway at 4.40am.

He received a superficial wound and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

A 17-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man from Sheerness, were arrested for assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, criminal damage and affray.

The 17-year-old boy has been released on bail until Tuesday, May 25, while inquiries continue.

The 15-year-old and 27-year-old are currently in police custody.
