Crash on M25 near Sevenoaks claims life of woman driver

Police have revealed that a Citroen driver died at the scene of a crash on the M25 yesterday.

Collision investigators are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Emergency crews were called to the anti-clockwise carriageway near junction three at 6.05pm

The incident involved a blue BMW 7 series, a silver Vauxhall Insignia, a grey Citroen C4 and a pink Smart car. The dead woman was in her 70s.

Five other people were taken to hospital for treatment but their injuries are not described as life-threatening.

Police wish to speak to anyone who saw any of the vehicles involved in the moments before the collision.
