A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on crash with a car in Sevenoaks.

Emergency services were called to the the A25 Bradbourne Vale Road, at the junction with Lambarde Road, at 7.45am this morning.

A statement from Kent Police added: "The collision involved a car and a motorcycle. Officers and ambulance crews are at the scene."

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and the road has since been reopened.
