CCTV image of man released after robbery on train between Bat and Ball and Eynsford railway stations

A balaclava-clad man is reported to have pulled out a knife on a train passenger before demanding he hand over his bag.

The young man boarded the train at the Bat and Ball railway station in Sevenoaks and approached the victim who was sitting alone.

During the incident, which took place on August 26 at around 1pm, the man allegedly put on a balaclava and blocked him in.

He then pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s bag.

The man left the train three stops later at Eynsford with two other young men.

Detectives investigating the incident have released an image in connection with the suspected robbery.

Officers believe the person in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
