Jobs created as Rephine expands in Kent

Auditing consultancy Rephine has expanded its business in Kent.

Rephine, which provides auditing services to international primary and secondary pharmaceutical industries, has moved to new offices in Canterbury and created more jobs.

The company secured £500,000 from venture capitalist MMC Ventures and has taken more than 2,000 sq ft of space at Lakesview Business Park.

The move has meant more modern facilities and a larger space, enabling the company to create 10 more jobs.

John Sullivan, Managing Director at Rephine, commented: “We have recently experienced substantial growth and have appreciated the support that Locate in Kent has given us over the past two years.”

Paul Wookey, Chief Executive of Locate in Kent said: “Kent has had a long history in the pharmaceutical industry and a number of major bioscience firms.

"The county is now creating a climate for young and innovative companies such as Rephine, which supply the bigger pharma companies, to thrive.

"The county is home to approximately 150 life science companies and over 100 R&D and testing companies, with more than 13,000 people employed in the sector."
