A KENT-BASED sales advisor with David Wilson Homes has been successful in the company’s awards ceremony in Birmingham. Patricia Murr, sales advisor at The Meadow in Sittingbourne, won the silver.

The company’s sales awards measure all areas of a sales advisor’s performance from their customer service to product knowledge and after sales care. Finalists are selected from each of the company’s 12 regions.

LAING Homes has improved its customer image.

According to the recent Housing Forum’s 2002 National Customer Satisfaction Survey, the company has more satisfied customers, with more of them prepared to recommend Laing Homes to their friends.

The Forum awarded Laing Homes a three-star rating for achieving customer recommendation levels 10 per cent higher than the 49 per cent national average.

Ian Randall, regional managing director for South East and South West Thames, said: “We welcome the report and I’m very happy that customer service improvements we have put in place are starting to come through. Others will take a little longer but are on the way.”

HALIFAX estate agents has launched online services through its website, www.halifaxestateagency.co.uk.

The site enables those looking for a new home to quickly search through all of the properties listed with Halifax estate agents in their 370 plus offices using the company’s HomeFinder system.

Customers can view properties online, print off sales brochures or request to have brochures posted to them. If the customer is interested in viewing a property, this can also be arranged via the website.

Other services offered include information on how to sell a property, mortgages and solicitors and conveyancers.

Customers can also request a free valuation of their property and register for up-dates of new properties.

THE Mayor of Ramsgate, Dick Dickinson, was guest of honour at the recent official opening of Gillcrest Homes’ new showhome at Highlands Glade in Manston.

Gillcrest is building 10 individually-designed homes. Prices are from £284,995.
