New homes of innovative design

DEVELOPER Environ Sunley is releasing for sale the first homes at its innovative development, Kings Hill Park at Kings Hill, near West Malling.

All 33 homes at the four acre Kings Hill Park are being built to the Canadian Government's Super E standard.

Super E means that homes are healthier through improved air quality; quieter and more energy efficient through high levels of insulation; and brighter through innovative design of internal space.

Kings Hill Park follows on from the success of the company's Lacuna development at Kings Hill and offers residents the opportunity to live in prestigious homes with light, airy, contemporary designs reflecting 'city' style, yet situated in a traditional village layout adjacent to Kings Hill golf club.

Many of the homes have direct views out across the golf course. The architectural style of the two bedroom apartments, penthouses and three, four or five bedroom houses combines 'New England' spaciousness with an established Kentish village atmosphere.

The innovative nature of the homes ensures that underfloor heating joins double glazing and intelligent wiring for lighting, TV, audio, telephones, IT and security.

The Super E system is controlled and certified by the Canadian Government to ensure quality. It brings a technologically robust method of scientific assessment to the manufacture of walls and windows for durable timber-framed homes.

With only one and a half air changes per hour, homes are virtually draught free and fluctuating temperatures are naturally balanced within the home to avoid cold spots. Filtered ventilation supplies clean air. The Super E standard includes top specification 'A' rated appliances and condensing boilers powered by mains gas to power the underfloor heating.
