Firm's first site selling well

COPTHORN Homes' first development in Kent, the Chartwell Building, at Tunbridge Wells, is on course for success with more than 50 per cent of the new homes already sold.

The development of 24, two and three-bedroom apartments, a penthouse, and secure underground parking, has brought clever solutions for modern living dilemmas to the spa town. "Right from the start, we knew that the Chartwell Building was going to be hugely successful," said Neil Armstrong, marketing director for Copthorn Homes.

"The development displays so many interesting design features, and refreshing new interior layout ideas. Potential buyers have been quick to appreciate that there are very real benefits to living here."

The building features a blend of apartments built over a major new 22,424 sq ft retail unit designed by Countryside Commercial. The development is centred around a landscaped courtyard with unusual, glazed walkways. Prices start from £190,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, rising to £225,000 for a three-bedroom apartment with an en-suite bathroom.
