Cutting-edge system to aid vendors

A NEW computer system is enhancing services at a Kent estate agent, ensuring that properties are marketed across the group's network within 24 hours.

The cutting-edge system is being piloted in Ward & Partners’ seven Medway offices and on the Isle of Thanet. The pilot is already assisting business in these areas and is expected to be fully operational within all of Ward's 50 offices midway through the year.

Regional managing director, Aldo Sotgiu, said: “The primary advantage of the enhanced system is that properties will be available through a local cluster of offices. In this way vendors will not only be directly marketed by the listing office but also fully available within the cluster. This maximises the exposure of the client's property and ensures that within 24 hours it is fully available across the network.”

TRY Homes has found that ground floor apartments are particularly popular with purchasers who want to ensure their cat has a direct access to the great outdoors.

Nick Champness, sales and marketing director of Try Homes Southern, said: "People consider many factors when moving house and the well being of a family pet comes high up on the list. People sometimes believe that there is less security in a ground floor apartment than one of its more lofty counterparts, but they are willing to risk this for the sake of their pets if it means a better life for their pet."

One two-bedroom ground floor apartment remains available at St Andrew's Park for £169,950.

Cat lovers should call the St Andrew’s Park information centre on 01622 726 355 for further information.
