There is still time to submit entries to the KM Walk to School Song Contest, but the June 1 deadline is fast approaching.

Schools, classes, walking buses or just groups of friends are eligible to enter and this year’s track to perform is “I Wanna Be Like You” from Disney’s The Jungle Book.

Six groups of finalists will be invited to record their song professionally at a leading recording studio.

The overall winners will be invited to perform their rendition at two major events in 2017: Walk to School Awards and Buster’s Big Bash.

Schools can create original lyrics for the song, or simply provide a cover version. Backing music is not essential and points will be awarded to the most creative entries.

Send a CD copy of the track to:

With the chance to record your track professionally, this is a great opportunity to kick-start your musical career!”

The competition is organised by the Walk to School division of the KM Charity Team in association with Independent Music Productions (IMP).
