Problems with her boat and an injury to one of her back-up team have meant more frustration for round-Britain sailor Hilary Lister.

Hilary, 35, from Dunkirk, is attempting to become the first woman quadriplegic to sail round the coast of Britain.

But bad weather dogged her at the start following her departure from Dover, putting her behind schedule.

Now the team is grounded at Lymington while repairs are carried out on Hilary's boat Me Too and while back-up team member Sean Davis recovers from a hand injury.

Hilary is not expected to set sail again until later this week as three people are required on her safety boat.

Writing on her blog, Hilary said: "Whilst all these delays are incredibly frustrating, it is important to keep them in proportion.

"We always knew that this would be the tough part as we are sailing against prevailing winds.

"Once we round Land's End the wind will no longer be in our faces and many of the problems with the boat and its systems will have been solved."

Hilary sails using a unique sip and puff technique to steer her boat.
