Karate Kids' charity success

These youngsters proved formidable kickers during a charity event last month.

The young Karate Kids are members of the Practical Self Defence Martial Arts Club in Rainham.

The youngsters aged four-11 performed three one minute rounds of continuous kicking raising more than £250 for the BBC's Children In Need appeal.

The children are being trained in Kickboxing, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and Kung Fu.

Iain Kirkpatrick, the club's owner and instructor said:“The kids were outstanding; they all took part and have raised money for a great cause."
