Climbers will be well dressed!

Specially designed T-shirts will be worn by a group of climbers when they tackle the Three Peaks Challenge.

The 24-strong group from the Canterbury area will climb Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike to raise funds for the Kent Community Foundation from May 9-11.

They will be wearing T-shirts from sponsor Denne Construction. The Kent Community Foundation supports worthy causes all over the county, including the Kent and Canterbury Hospital oncology unit.

The challenge leaders are foundation chief executive Iain McArthur and Edwina Jackaman, from Shottenden.

They are appealing to businesses in Kent to help top a £25,000 target. Other sponsors include Shepherd Neame

Among the group are David Lench, managing director of Ward & Partners; Rob Balicki, managing director of Worldwide Fruits, of Ospringe; a vet, dentist, teacher, acupuncturist, housewives and mothers.
