Charities and voluntary groups are now able to submit entries for KM Charity of the Year 2017

The time has come for good causes to submit their entries to become a KM Charity of the Year.

KM Charity of the Year winners will enjoy the benefits of wide exposure across the KM Group's multimedia output, including collaborative events with the KM Charity Team such as the KM Colour Run.
KM Charity of the Year winners will enjoy the benefits of wide exposure across the KM Group's multimedia output, including collaborative events with the KM Charity Team such as the KM Colour Run.

Each year selected charities and voluntary groups are championed by their local KM newspaper editor, kmfm and KentOnline in a bid to support the good work offered.

The chosen charities will benefit from wide exposure across the KM Group’s multimedia services including column inches on its work and fundraising projects, and wider activities to really boost the profile of the business.

Simon Dolby, chief executive of the KM Charity Team, is calling for entries and is keen to stress the good that this service can do for your charity. “I can’t emphasise enough what a fantastic opportunity this is for good causes. Our editors want to get behind a charitable organisation and trumpet about it for 12 months – and it could be yours,” he said.

KM Charity of the Year is open to regional or national good causes of any size and all applications are also considered for the Kent Charity Awards.

Businesses which operate across multiple areas of the county are welcome to submit more than a single entry; just make sure each completed form is targeted to a particular geographic audience – ie: Canterbury division promoted for the Kentish Gazette, Sandwich division promoted for the East Kent Mercury.

Applications are welcomed until the deadline date of Friday, October 21. Click here to submit yours.

For essential guidance on making your Charity of the Year application come to the free KM Charity Team Forum at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel on Monday, October 3. But don’t forget to register your place here.
