Are you brave enough to take part in our charity challenge?

THE Kentish Express and kmfm have selected Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent as their charity for 2009.

The first event to be staged will be a zip wire challenge at Folkestone Racecourse on Sunday, March 22, 2009 and will raise funds for Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent (70 per cent) and the children’s road safety charity Kent Walking Bus (30 per cent).

This is an exhilarating and scary challenge which launches participants from the TV gantry on the roof of the racecourse and will zip our brave challengers on to the grass immediately next to the track below.

This is appropriate for individuals or as a team challenge. To take part each participant must pledge to raise a minimum of £75. This event is for those aged 16 and over and there is a maximum weight restriction of 17stone 3lbs.
