Invicta Dynamos received a massive Christmas bonus with the news that Slovakian imports Milan Kostolny and Martin Melichercik will take a break from their winter holiday to line up against league leaders Bracknell Hornets at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday (5.15pm).

The club’s top points scorers were initially expected to miss the game, but will now fly back especially for the clash before continuing their holiday through to the new year.

“It’s a big boost for us that Milan and Martin will be available for the game,” said Parrish.

“They flew home on Monday and will be back on the day of the Bracknell game.

“They will then go back to Slovakia for New Year and miss the cup game at Chelmsford before returning in time to face Cardiff on January 11.”

Despite the encouraging news from the Slovakian camp, Parrish’s roster problems continue in goal where there is still no back-up for the in-form Joe White.

Chelmsford Chieftains’ third choice netminder had been expected to make the move to Dynamos last week, but the deal fell through.
