New Invicta Dynamos import Juraj Huska isn't interested in statistics or records.

The Slovakian signing may have netted more goals in the NIHL South than any other player over the last three years but he’s modest about his achievements.

And the 31-year-old knows that if he plays well, the goals will follow. For him, it’s that simple.

“I don’t take too much notice about records and statistics, I just try and play well,” said the new arrival at the Silver Blades.

“If I am doing everything right, then things will fall into place. I’ll just try and play to my best.”

Huska hails from the central Slovakian town of Zvolen but has made a name for himself in England, after a prolific spell with the Romford Raiders.

He had a spell in the EPL with the Telford Tigers in 2006/07, followed by a year in France and two back home in Slovakia. But on his return, with the Essex outfit, he hit 56 goals and 34 assists in the league.

He scored 41 goals and helped in another 51 the following year, as the Raiders won the championship, making him a target for many clubs, including the Mos. And head coach Kevin Parrish finally got his man last month.
