Gillingham face Margate for a place in the Kent Senior Cup final and boss Justin Edinburgh insists he’s in it to win it.

The semi-final against the Ryman League side takes place at Priestfield on Monday night at 7pm.

“We will see quite a few first teamers,” said Edinburgh, who is keen to give his fringe players a run-out.

“We will show the competition the respect it deserves.

“Any competition that I enter as a manager I want to win and that will be passed onto the players. We will have a strong side for Monday.”

The Gills have beaten Dartford and Tonbridge Angels in previous rounds of the competition and play for a final place against either Charlton or Ramsgate.

Goalkeeper Glenn Morris, winger Brennan Dickenson, defender Leon Legge and striker Luke Norris are also expected to feature.

Tickets cost £10 adults and £5 for concessions.
