Invicta Dynamos made it seven ENIHL South 1 wins in a row on Sunday evening as they defeated league leaders Bracknell Hornets 4-2 at the Gillingham Ice Bowl.

In a rough encounter, which included three fights, Kevin Parrish’s men trailed twice before hitting three goals in eight minutes to remain undefeated in three games against the Berkshire side this season.

For spells in the first two periods Bracknell appeared to have the upper hand on their opponents as goals from Daniel Davies and Craig Tribe put them in control.

Anthony Leone struck in between, but it wasn’t until the final five minutes of the second period that Invicta surged ahead.

Martin Melichercik, taking a break from festive celebrations in Slovakia, levelled matters before Elliot Andrews scored the go-ahead goal from a pass by Milan Kostolny.

Karl Lennon’s marker from an AJ Smith assist doubled Invicta’s advantage early in the third period, and Bracknell never recovered, as the Dynamos moved to within two points of top spot.
