Kat Driscoll clinched double gold at the Trampoline World Championships in Bulgaria.

The former Gillingham jumper helped Great Britain to team gold on Friday and followed that up with a win in the synchronized competition.

Driscoll, who now resides in the northeast, was one of three gymnasts to jump for Britain in the team event, where they pipped Canada and Belarus for gold.

London Olympian Driscoll was the last of the three to perform her routine and she held her nerve, avoiding any costly faults, with a score of 53.725.

She was joined by fellow Brits Emma Smith and Laura Gallagher at the top of the podium.

The following day, on Saturday, Driscoll joined Amanda Parker to take synchronized gold.

Their score of 47.500 was enough to just edge out the Chinese pair of Dan Li and Xingping Zhong.

O’Driscoll tweeted: “Absolutely lost for words... I have the most amazing syncro partner that I love to death! WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!”
