Chatham Town sign former QPR and Glasgow Rangers midfielder Jabari Christmas

Chatham Town’s latest signing is the ideal man for the festive season.

Trinidad & Tobago attacking midfielder Jabari Christmas has joined Chatham ahead of the festive period.

The 18-year-old has previously been with QPR, joining them from the Kinetic Football Foundation, and recently had a trial with Southampton prior to signing on at Chatham Town.

He arrives at the Bauvill Stadium to strengthen Chatham’s attacking prowess in the Isthmian Premier Division.

Christmas has already featured for Chatham’s academy side and had a short spell with Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers.

Chats said: “Jabari is a highly-rated prospect and a player the club is extremely looking forward to working with.”

Chatham sit second in the Isthmian Premier Division and are next in action on Boxing Day, away at Kingstonian. They return home to face Dulwich Hamlet on New Year’s Day.
