Woman stabbed by needle in attack by man in Castle Road, Chatham

A woman needed surgery after being stabbed by a man with a fine needle.

The woman in her thirties was walking along Castle Road in Chatham when she was assaulted with a man allegedly carrying a fine needle.

She needed surgery to have it removed after the attack, at 11.15am on Friday, August 4.

Police have carried out several enquiries but have now released this computer-generated image in the hope it will jog people's memories.

The man is described as white, medium build and with short brown hair styled into a quiff. He was around 5ft 9ins tall and aged in his early twenties.

He was wearing a grey ‘Mackenzie’ tracksuit top and bottoms.
