A woman accused of fatally stabbing a pensioner in Chatham appeared in court today Friday.

It is alleged that she murdered 66-year-old Antoine Denis. His body was discovered in a flat at Copperfield House, New Road, on January 9. Mr Denis died from a single stab wound.

Albone, of Luton Road, Chatham, spoke only to confirm her name. She was remanded in custody until her next court hearing on April 22.

Judge Andrew Patience QC provisionally fixed her trial to start on July 26.
