A woman has been arrested after cash and drugs were found in a car.

Police stopped the vehicle in Hoo and arrested a female on suspicion of drug dealing.

A spokesman said: "The arrest was made following proactive patrolling, due to an ongoing CSU (Community Safety Unit) operation in the area, by PC James of Kent Police Tactical Operations.

"He stopped a car and subsequently arrested a female on suspicion of drug dealing, after finding significant amounts of cash and drugs."

Enquiries are ongoing.
