Police investigating a serious road traffic collision on the A2 in Rainham are appealing for witnesses.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the road that night and may have witnessed the collision or seen the vehicles befire the crash.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s from Newington, sustained serious leg injuries in the collision.

The collision, between a black Vauxhall Corsa and a red Honda motorbike, happened at around 10pm on Tuesday, April 24, at the junction of London Road and Pump Lane.
