S Club 7's Tina Barrett to star in Britannia Theatre's Christmas pantomime, Dick Whittington at Chatham Maritime

Fresh from a sell out reunion tour, a singer from one the UK’s biggest pop groups will be doing her thing in Medway this Christmas.

S Club 7’s Tina Barrett is set to star in Dick Whittington at the Britannia Theatre, Chatham Maritime, alongside children’s TV presenter Derek Griffiths, and Hollyoaks actor Paul Danan.

Tina will be playing Fairy Bowbells. It won’t be her first pantomime as she has appeared in Beauty and The Beast in Chesterfield and The Wizard of Oz in Peterborough last year.

In 2014, the band reunited for a special appearance on Children In Need, and in 2015 the group released a greatest hits album and embarked on an arena tour which finished with a sell out run at London's O2.

The baddie of the show, King Rat, is being played by Derek Griffiths who is best known for his parts in Play Away and Play School in the 70s and 80s.
