A thug who left a random victim with several fractures in his face during an unprovoked attack has been jailed.
Liam Nurden assaulted the teenager in an alleyway in Wainscott, near Strood, before assaulting four police officers after he was arrested.
The 24-year-old has now been sentenced to more than two years in prison after pleading guilty to the assaults and growing drugs.
Nurden, of Chancel Drive, Wainscott, admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and the four charges of assault against emergency service workers, criminal damage to a police cell and producing cannabis.
The violent attack on his victim, who suffered serious facial injuries and did not know Nurden, took place in an alley off Wainscott Road last August 23.
The youngster was able to walk to a nearby shop to raise the alarm and get help.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics and further assessments revealed he had suffered multiple fractures.

Nurden was arrested on the same day but while in custody continued with his aggressive behaviour.
A detention officer attempted to calm him but he went on to spit at them and resisted efforts by the police officers to restrain him.
He later deliberately flooded the cell he was being held in.
Police also found 11 cannabis plants at his home.
Nurden was jailed for two years and three days at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday.
Det Con Brian Mitchell, the investigation officer, said: "Nurden subjected numerous people to inexplicable, and completely unacceptable, levels of violence.
"The danger he presents to the public is clearly demonstrated by his willingness to seriously assault a person he targeted completely at random and it is entirely appropriate that he has received a custodial sentence."
