Teenager has been bailed after being charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine after police raid in Chatham

A teenager has been bailed after appearing in court after being charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine after police raised a property in Chatham.

Officers carried out the drug search in Castle Road on Tuesday, November 20 after they received intelligence suggesting the property was involved in county lines drug dealing.

A number of mobile phones, suspected to have been used to supply drugs, were seized at the scene.

Perry Mulholland, 18, of Melbourne Road in Chatham, was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

He appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was bailed to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, December 20.

A 36-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, all from Chatham, were also arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

All three have been released, pending further inquiries.
