Asda supermarket’s toy sweep at its Chatham store reaches children in the town.

Generous shoppers helped put smiles on children’s faces this Christmas by giving them extra toys.

Customers at Asda in Chatham got right behind the store’s Make Someone Smile campaign when they dropped off toys to be given to a children’s centre.

Debbie Rowles, from the store, said: “The toys in the trollies were part of the Make Someone Smile this Christmas campaign.

“Very generous customers and colleagues donated two full trollies of toys, puzzles, dolls, Lego and games, and one shopper hand-knitted some lovely toy animals.

“The toys were collected from the store by staff from the All Saints children’s centre at Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, who will distribute them to families that need a little extra help this Christmas.”
