Woman in her 60s sexually assaulted at Friston Recreational Ground, Friston Way, Rochester

A woman in her 60s was sexually assaulted while walking her dog on Friston Recreation Ground in Rochester.

The suspect approached the victim from behind and grabbed her, but fled when she screamed.

The attack happened on the green in Friston Way between 7.40am and 7.50am on Sunday, September 14.

Afterwards, the man was seen walking off towards Long Walk, before turning into Anchor Road.

He is described as a white man, aged between 30 and 35, 5ft 8in tall and of medium build. He had very short hair and wore blue stonewashed jeans.
