The person behind an internet attack on Gillingham chairman Paul Scally insists they won’t be revealing their identity.

Mr Scally was keen to meet "face to face" with a poster on the BBC 606 forum after making claims against the Gills chairman.

A message posted yesterday by Petang57 read: "I will not be contacting you as I feel there should be more pressing issues involved in running a club than one fan’s point of view. So if you wish to continue this it will be up to you but I won’t be responding."

A Thursday deadline had been set by Mr Scally for the poster to make contact with him.
