British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious sexual assault

A man who died on railway lines near Rochester station has been named by police on Thursday as Leigh Robinson.

The 37-year-old of Calden Avenue, Gillingham, who was single, was found dead on tracks in Fort Pitt Tunnel on Sunday, April 4.

An initial cause of death has been given as electrocution. An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
