Crews called after Range Rover bursts into flames in Rainham

Fire crews and police were called after a Range Rover burst into flames in Rainham.

Firefighters were called to Rainham High Street at 9.40pm on Sunday, and police closed the road while one fire engine attended the scene.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet, and the fire was out by 10.30pm.

No injuries were reported, and police say the fire is not being treated as suspicious.

The road was reopened shortly after the incident.
