Racist Nathan Taylor admits racially abusing a worker at McDonald's in Gillingham

A man who denied racially aggravated behaviour at a fast-food restaurant has now pleaded guilty to the offence.

Nathan Taylor, 20, was charged with racially abusing Karim Bemmir in McDonald’s in Gillingham High Street in December.

He initially denied the offence and Medway magistrates adjourned the hearing until this week for a case management hearing.

Taylor, of Laburnum Place, Sittingbourne, had also been charged with threatening behaviour and racially aggravated assault on Mr Bemmir by throwing a burger in his face.

However, when Taylor appeared at the same court this week, the racially aggravated assault charge was dismissed.

While in the dock he admitted racially aggravated behaviour threatening behaviour and the case was adjourned for reports before sentencing on February 16.
