Police have released these CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged unprovoked attack.

The alleged assault happened outside Sanchos kebab shop in Canterbury Street, Gillingham, in the early hours of Sunday, March 14, but details have only just been released by police.

During the incident, a 26-year-old man from Chatham suffered a broken ankle and bruising to his face.

Police say the attack happened between 1.50 and 2am outside the takeaway.

Detectives would like to speak to a man pictured as they think he may have vital information about the incident.

A spokesman for Medway police, said: "The man is white, believed to be in his 20s and of medium build, with short, dark hair."
