Police searching for a missing man thought to have been in Medway have found a body.

The family of Ukrainian-born Ivan Valigvrskyy were becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare after going missing from his home in New Barn Street, Newham, yesterday.

Mr Valigvrskyy, 40, was last seen leaving his home at about 4.20pm wearing a brown coat and carrying a rucksack.

A man matching Ivan's description was found dead this morning in Essex.

His next of kin are yet to be informed.
