Now, a week on since the investigation started, there have been reports of her being sighted at around 8.29pm running alone up Star Hill in Rochester heading towards Delce Road and New Road.

It was previously thought the teenager was last seen at around 6.45pm on CCTV with a man believed to be in his 20s in Gundulph Road and the Brook in Chatham.

The two locations are about two miles from each other.

Police released the images as part of an appeal and have since arrested a man in his 20s. He has been released on bail until January 16.

DI Scott Relf said: “We are still very keen to speak to Grace to ensure she is safe and well and, if she is reading this, I urge her to get in touch with us.

“We have made extensive inquiries to trace Grace and have identified the last sighting of her running up Star Hill.
