Farzana's Bakery opens stall in the Pentagon Centre in Chatham

When your name is Farzana Farzana, there is probably only one thing you can call your cake stall - Farzana's Bakery!

Farzana, originally from Pakistan but now lives in Chatham, has had no formal training, but long ago discovered that she had a talent for making fresh cream cakes.

During the Covid lockdown she branched out and began making other buns and cakes too for family and friends.

Soon, with the bakeries closed, word spread and she began selling her products to neighbours in Gladstone Road.

Now she has gone that extra step of turning her hobby into a business and opened a cake stall selling all kinds of delectables in the Pentagon Centre at Chatham.

She is assisted by her daughter, Anushah Khan, but Anushah confessed; "Mum does all the baking."

The kiosk is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 9am to 6pm, with early Sunday closing at 4pm.
