Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish completed his search for another netminder by clinching the signature of Andy Moffat.

Parrish, pictured, was left looking for a second goaltender after Mark Hartley revealed he was no longer in a position to commit for the season and he has moved quickly to fill the gap with the acquisition of former Chelmsford Chieftain man Moffat.

Moffat, 28, spent the early part of his career north of the border with the Fife Flyers in the British National League and showed great potential, leading to selection for Great Britain at the World Junior Championships, aged 18.

He was soon plying his trade in England, appearing for Chelmsford Chieftains, Wightlink Raiders and Romford Raiders before signing with the Dynamos.

Parrish said: "I’m happy to have Andy joining us as he has proved in previous seasons he has it in him to be one of the best goalies in the league.

"I’m sure he’ll be in top form for us this campaign."

The Dynamos are hosting a Meet the Players night on Sunday, August 22.

Fans can watch the squad train on the ice from 4pm before meeting them upstairs in the bar.
