Tom Dallas will face Brazilian Daniel Bispo when he returns to the ring next week.

The Chatham heavyweight’s manager, Mark Roe, feels the 36-year-old will offer a tough challenge when they meet on Saturday, October 16, at The Troxy, in Limehouse.

Dallas, pictured, boasts 11 wins from 11 professional fights.

Next weekend’s bout, which will be screened on Sky Sports, will be the 25-year-old's final six-round test.

Roe said: "Once we get this out of the way, it’s eight rounds-plus for Tom and we can start looking at championships."

Bispo, a southpaw, has never fought in Britain before. His record is 22 wins and 15 losses in a 13-year professional career.

Dallas last met a left-hander in May when he took under two minutes to dispose of journeyman Lee Swaby.

Roe is keen to bring Kent professionals to Gillingham’s Medway Park next month. Dallas will top the bill in an event co-organised by promoter Frank Maloney, provisionally planned for Saturday, November 20.

Also invited are Swanley’s Martin Welsh, the Woolford brothers from Ramsgate, Gavin Tait (Sheerness), Freddie Luke (West Kingsdown) and Dan Woodgate (Ramsgate).
