Two teenage girls report being sexually assaulted in Chatham at junction of Clover Street and High Street

A bald man with “a number of missing teeth” is wanted by police after two teenage girls said they were kissed on the cheek and touched on the leg by the man.

The two girls said they were approached by the suspect at the junction of Clover Street and High Street in Chatham at around 5.50pm on Saturday, November 4.

He is reported to have made lewd comments and alleged to have kissed one of them on the cheek and touched the other victim’s leg.

The man is described as being white, around 60 years old, bald, with a number of missing teeth.

He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

PC Jack Kennedy, of the Medway Vulnerability Investigation Team, said: “Officers have been completing enquiries into this incident including the review of CCTV in the area.

“We are appealing to anyone who recognises the description or who may have seen this individual in the town centre in recent weeks to call our appeal line.”
