Man arrested after stabbing in Rochester High Street at Star Hill junction

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in a high street.

At least seven police cars were seen at the Star Hill junction, in Rochester, after a man was wounded outside the dental practice.

Officer were called to the incident at around 9.30am today.

Paramedics and officers attended the scene and the victim has been taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.

An investigation into the circumstances is underway and a man has been detained.

A man was seen outside the dentist being apprehended by members of the public.

A machete was also found near to the scene.
