Resan Mabo facing drugs charges after vehicle stopped in Gillingham

A man is facing four charges of supplying drugs after being stopped in Gillingham

London man Resean Mabo was travelling in a Ford Fiesta when he was stopped in Dock Road at around 1.25pm yesterday.

Following a search at the scene, officers suspected he was involved in supplying drugs and took him to Medway Police Station, where searches uncovered a quantity of what is believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.

The 19-year-old, of Denmark Hill in London, was charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply and possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

Mabo was also an outstanding suspect for drug supply offences after officers uncovered quantities of suspected heroin and crack cocaine at a property in Saxon Street, Gillingham, on May 11.

He was subsequently charged with additional counts of possessing heroin with intent to supply and possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

Mabo appeared at Medway Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear in Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, December 19.
